Introduction:

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is an anionic water-soluble polymer based on renewable cellulosic raw material. Our WGCEL CMC widely used in personal care applications.

Key Functions:

Thickening Agent– Enhances viscosity in aqueous systems.

Stabilizer & Suspending Agent – Prevents separation of emulsions and keeps solid particles suspended.

Film-Forming Agent – Provides a smooth, protective layer on skin or hair.

Moisture Retention – Helps retain hydration in skin and hair care products.

Conditioning Effect – Improves texture and feel on application.

Storage Conditions:

Temperature: Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C (41°F – 86°F).  

Humidity: Keep in an environment with low humidity (<50% RH) to prevent moisture absorption.  

Ventilation: Ensure proper air circulation to avoid condensation and clumping.  

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Store away from direct heat and UV light to prevent degradation.
